I'm building an OS image for an IoT application with Armbian, legacy kernel branch. I have a raspberry pi 7" touchscreen attached via SPI that I would like to display a splash screen when the device is booting. I've tried setting up plymouth like one does for the raspberry pi and it has no effect.
