How to enable serial console in Tinker Board S R2.0

Hi,

Is it possible to enable console on UART1 at boot up?
to activate the console, I change the /boot/config.txt. but, I can't activate.

• intf:uart1=off -> intf-uart1=on
• last line overlay= -> overlay=console-uart1-overlay
  overlay also tried "console-uart0-overlay"

Environment

• Tinker Board S R2.0
• Tinker Board S R2.0 Debian 10 V3.0.11

 

Can you let me know if there is a solution?

1. download 'console-uart1-overlay.dtbo' file from the link above

2. move the file to /boot/overlays

3. sudo vim /boot/config.txt to enable console-uart1 (overlay=console-uart1-overlay)

4. reboot
