Tinkerboard 2S not recognized as device by Mac OS

Recommended Posts

I am trying to flash Tinker Board 2 /2S Debian 11 (kernel 5.10) v.3.0.20 image onto my Tinkerboard 2S. However, when I connect the Tinkerboard to my computer, it is not recognized as a device. Therefore, I'm unable to flash the image via Balena Etcher. This device used to work but then I believe it got corrupted during a power loss.

I tried following the instructions in the guide below and I had no luck. I flashed the Tinker Board 2 /2S Debian 11 (kernel 5.10) v.3.0.20 image on a Micro SD card and tried to boot device with Micro SD after setting device in Maskrom mode but this also didn't work. Are there any other things I can try?

hello @nikolic730

reasons can vary, you might want to check if it works with another cable, or the other setting that i listed in another post
