Tinker System 2
An Arm-based embedded system, featuring 64-bit Armv8 architecture, offers enhanced computing performance with low power consumption.
The all-new ASUS Tinker System 2 is an ultra-compact powerhouse driven by an Arm® six-core system on a chip (SoC), with the 64-bit Armv8 architecture and multi-core Mali-T860 GPU. With superb performance, installation flexibility and inherent energy efficiency, Tinker System 2 is the perfect choice for diverse industries and IoT applications — from retail to factory automation and beyond.
Uncompromised performance in ultra-compact form
Tinker System 2’s powerful Arm six-core SoC, with multi-core Mali-T860 GPU means it’s primed to empower energy-efficient integrated imaging analysis and AI-vision capabilities. The low power consumption and palm-sized design make it ideal for space-constrained locations. It also packs exceptionally powerful computing performance for its size, meaning it’s as capable at controlling interactive touchscreens and face-recognition systems in smart-retail settings as it is managing object and defect detection on automated production lines.

Enhanced connectivity for easy expandability
Tinker System 2 offers comprehensive connectivity with a multitude of universal display interfaces, including HDMI-CEC, DisplayPort over USB-C and DSI, for superb flexibility in versatile usage scenarios. It’s also engineered with three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports for data-transfer speeds that are up to 10X faster than USB 2.0, and a versatile USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port with data transfer, Power Delivery and DisplayPort functionality — ensuring Tinker System 2 has an abundant supply of connections for diverse IoT applications.
Stunning 4K, dual-display visuals
Tinker System 2 supports dual displays at up to 4K UHD resolution, offering compelling visual output. This makes it a great option for display-oriented retail applications, such as digital signage, interactive kiosks, TV walls and billboards.
Commercial-grade resilience and reliability
Heat dissipation is a crucial factor in achieving maximum performance in embedded solutions. That’s why we engineered Tinker System 2 with a solid aluminum chassis, ensuring stable and efficient thermal performance. It is also fanless, with pre-installed dust covers on the I/O ports — so it’s ready made for commercial use. Pretested with WiFi module as a system, it offers industry-standard EMC/RF certifications, minimizing testing time and maximizing deployment speed.
Secure, safe and diverse operating system
compatibility
Tinker System 2 is compatible with a broad selection of Linux-based embedded operating systems, streamlining the ability to create a tested, trusted platform for vertical applications, such as smart automation, smart transportation and smart retail. It is also ready to run both Debian 10 and Android 11, ensuring access to the best security and privacy features.
Easy and intuitive system management
Tinker System 2 includes a flexible setup tool to tune every aspect of your build, enabling you to tweak performance settings to perfectly match the way you work. Initial configuration follows just three simple steps:
Step 1: Select the CPU Governor mode.
Step 2: Set the maximum and minimum frequencies for the CPU and GPU.
Step 3: Use the Monitor panel to confirm that the operating system is following the settings configured in Steps 1 and 2.
