<p>
	We use Tinkerboard 2S as a USB-HID device (On-The-Go).<br />
	To use this function, TinkerBoard's USB-TypeC must be connected to a PC via USB.<br />
	When we turn on TinkerBoard2S in this state, it does not Normal Boot and Tinkerboard does not start.<br />
	Once the USB cable is removed, Normal Boot will occur and Tinkerboard will start.
</p>

<p>
	How can I Normal Boot when I turn on the Tinkerboard with the USB-TypeC cable connected to the PC?
</p>

<p>
	Best regards,
</p>

	Hello, I've just bought a Tinker Board 2S. When I flash the android OS and connected to the UART serial, I saw that is android terminal, which I can have the same as I enter the "adb shell".
</p>

<p>
	Now I want to access to the Linux terminal of the board. Is there any solution?

<p>
	Thank you all, have a nice day

<p>
	Hi, i am new to this forum.
</p>

<p>
	I recently bought the Tinker Board 2S, mainly because of the USB-C port since i wanted to find out about the DisplayPort capabilities.<br />
	Currently i am using an Armbian image from the unsupported development branch.<br />
	<a href="https://github.com/armbian/build/releases" rel="external nofollow">https://github.com/armbian/build/releases</a>
</p>

<p>
	It turned out that the GPU driver included in he kernel doesn't perform very well.<br />
	So i compiled and installed the latest Mali 'panfrost' driver from source.<br />
	<a href="https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa" rel="external nofollow">https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa</a><br />
	There is an old how-to for debian buster. I had to install many other dependencies and also needed to change a few build options.<br />
	<a href="https://gist.github.com/tstellanova/6f7844379e358ee81b89cf6937ea8139" rel="external nofollow">https://gist.github.com/tstellanova/6f7844379e358ee81b89cf6937ea8139</a><br />
	<a href="https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/blob/main/meson_options.txt" rel="external nofollow">https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/blob/main/meson_options.txt</a><br />
	<br />
	Finally, a configuration change to XFCE to make full use of the hardware-acceleration.<br />
	<a href="https://forum.armbian.com/topic/17192-first-panfrost-enabled-desktop-builds/?do=findComment&amp;comment=121008" rel="external nofollow">https://forum.armbian.com/topic/17192-first-panfrost-enabled-desktop-builds/?do=findComment&amp;comment=121008</a><br />
	glmark2 Score: 661<br />
	<br />
	I think the Armbian development image is a good base for many Tinker Board 2 projects.<br />
	All the hardware is working. It even runs passively and not getting too hot, in a nice affordable case from Amazon.<br />
	My next tests will be KODI and armbian-gaming.

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	I'm using the <strong>RKIQ_Tuning_Tool_V1.9.1</strong> for purpose of color calibration.
</p>

<p>
	I'm having trouble loading <strong>SG_chart.cxf</strong> because I don't have eye-one device to generate the <strong>SG_chart.cxf</strong> file.
</p>

<p>
	Does anyone have a cxf file to tune the colors on the Rockchip Tuning Tool with the <strong>24 color chart</strong>?
</p>

<p>
	Thanks a lot.

<p>
	After being pretty disappointed with the ancient kernels that Asus/TB has been releasing, I finally found a well-maintained distro to put on the TB2. Yay!
</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://dietpi.com/#downloadinfo" rel="external nofollow">https://dietpi.com/#downloadinfo</a>
</p>

<p>
	You can dd this directly to an SD card or to the onboard MMC, and it works including the USB ports, HDMI and Ethernet. I was able to get the wifi to scan and connect but did not have antennas which may be causing my weak signal. I also ordered a newer m.2 <span>AX210NGW Wifi 6/Bluetooth 5.3 card to replace the </span>RTL8822CE card so we'll see if that improves.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I also have been experimenting, and have been able to steal the u-boot and kernel from this image and set up Arch Linux as well. After successfully flashing the dietpi image and patching to the latest kernel, I deleted everything from the dietpi filesystem, extracted the Arch Arm rootfs, but kept the boot directory. I was then able to successfully boot into arch linux.
</p>

<p>
	The "edge" kernel is at around v6.6.xx and surprisingly works very well. One thing I was not sure how to do was fetch and rebuild new kernels for Arch which include the TB2 DTB and put it in the right place.
</p>

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	My PC doesn't recognize my tinkerboard S. Would this be a problem with my tinkerboard or my PC setup?
</p>

<p>
	The red led is on when I connect the power cable.
</p>

<p>
	A USB-C cable connects the tinkerboard to the PC.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	However, the PC gives no response when the USB-C cable is plugged in nor do I see anything under device manager indicating a COM port connection.
</p>

<p>
	Any feedback would be appreciated.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thank you.

<p>
	I reinstalled debian onto the tinkeboard 2s, and added the below to /etc/network/interfaces
</p>

<p>
	# Add the following (for ethernet):<br />
	auto lo eth0<br />
	allow-hotplug eth0<br />
	iface lo inet loopback<br />
	iface eth0 inet dhcp
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	However, when I did:
</p>

<pre class="ipsCode prettyprint lang-html prettyprinted">
<span class="pln">ifconfig</span></pre>

<p>
	It produced the below result:<br />

	        TX packets 90  bytes 6869 (6.8 KB)<br />
	        TX errors 0  dropped 0 overruns 0  carrier 0  collisions 0
</p>

<p>
	As you can see, wlan / wlp1s0 is not found in there. As such, I am unable to connect via wifi / bluetooth.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Is there a driver / kernel / firmware that I can use to update the drivers so that the wifi and bluetooth modules are detectable?

	As the title suggest. I think some asynchronous communication platform would be good for all those interested in these boards. If Asus don't make an official server, can I start an unofficial one and advertise here?

	My PC does not recognize TinkerBoard2S.
</p>

<p>
	■My environment<br />
	PC : Macbook Air M2<br />
	OS : MacOS(Sonoma)
</p>

<p>
	■Symptom to be solved<br />
	TinkerBoad2S (hereinafter called 2S) is connected to a 15V/3A AC adapter.
</p>

<p>
	2S and PC are connected via USB cable (Type-C), and power is applied to 2S.<br />
	No new devices appear in the Finder of MacOS.
</p>

<p>
	I would like to know why my Macbook does not recognize the 2S.<br />
	The following small message appears on my Macbook.<br />
	"Unsupported device."
</p>

<p>
	The cable I use is a Type-C cable that supports high-speed communication.<br />
	I use it to connect SDD to my Macbook.
</p>

<p>
	I cannot transfer the OS image because the PC does not recognize my 2S.
</p>

<p>
	Is it possible to set up the 2S on a MacbookAir M2?
</p>

<p>
	Hello this is Gulshan Negi

<p>
	Well, I am writing a program for making Hangman game in python but it shows some error at the time of its execution.

    print("The word you have to guess is of ",length, "letters long.")
    chances=2*len(word)

        if word!=guessed_word(word, guessed_letter_list):
            print("You Got", chances, "Chances.")
            print("Letters you can enter should be from these ",available_letters(guessed_letter_list))

                chances-=1
            else:
                guessed_letter_list.append(guessInLowerCase)
                print("NICE YOU GUSESSED THE RIGHT LETTER! ",guessed_word(word, guessed_letter_list))

        elif word==guessed_word(word, guessed_letter_list):
            print("YOU WON!")
            break

    else:
        print('''
