  1. We use Tinkerboard 2S as a USB-HID device (On-The-Go). To use this function, TinkerBoard's USB-TypeC must be connected to a PC via USB. When we turn on TinkerBoard2S in this state, it does not Normal Boot and Tinkerboard does not start. Once the USB cable is removed, Normal Boot will occur and Tinkerboard will start. How can I Normal Boot when I turn on the Tinkerboard with the USB-TypeC cable connected to the PC? Best regards,
  2. Is there a way to turn off the power supply to a USB device?
  3. I have some USB Web Camera (UVC), but all of them doesn't work. Do I need to make any settings to be able to use the webcam? [ Testing environment ] Tinker board 2S (1)Debian10 v2.0.14 (2)Debian v2.1.6 I tried both OS as clean installed environment. (a)Pre-installed "Cheese" Application (b)Pre-installed "Qt V4L2 test Utility" Application [Result] (1) and (2) are same result. Normaly, /dev/video0 ~ video4 are appears. Then pluged the USB Web Camera, /dev/video5 and /dev/video6 are added. $ v4l2-ctl -d /dev/video5 -all video5 seems video device, and video6 seems other device. (a) : Shows "There wan an error playing video from the webcam" Error. Probably auto selected video0 as a default device. There should be a preferences menu in the Cheese app and can select video5, but the settings menu can't be displayed (probably a bug) (b):File > Open Device > device5, then crashed application and desktop...
  4. Hello Everyone, We are facing problems using Asus Thinker S/BR running Linaro with a 7 inch touchscreen which is connected by HDMI and using USB connection to transfer power and touch commands. Currently we have the same problem in 4 different Asus Thinkers, which the screen is freezing. VIDEO attached. We use this on smart lockers, which ALWAYS starts after a few weeks after finishing the smartlocker production and installation, so the smart lock leaves the factory working well. We have changed all devices that compound the smart locker, including the Thinker to a Raspberry 4 or a fresh Thinker S/BR and it works well again. Not sure that is the hardware itself, but something related to software, maybe a software automatic update, correct driver missed, file getting bigger, etc. Thinker details Distributor ID: Debian Description: Debian GNU/Linux 9.13 (stretch) Release: 9.13 Codename: stretch Kernel: Linux 4.4.132+ Architecture: arm Image: Tinker_Board-Debian-Stretch-V2.1.16-20200813 Could someone help us? 5. I have an ASUS Tinkerboard 2S, running TinkerOS Debian-Buster v2.0.4. I've come across an issue where if I plug in a USB 2.0 device, it will not work...but also kills all other USB device connections. The device I'm plugging in is: http://www.ikkegol.com/ikkegol-4-keys-usb-handle-keyboard-gaming-switch-pedal-p-62.html. Unfortunately, there is no real spec sheet for it, but I did run "USB Device Tree" on my Windows machine to try and pull additional information on the device. Effectively, it just emulates a USB keyboard. Numbers 1,2,3,4 correspond to A,B,C,D. It's an extremely basic device. I have not had any issues with it on other machines (Windows & Linux). I have also tested that this issue occurs across 3 different Tinkerboard 2S devices, so I know it's not board/hardware issue isolated to a single device. Looking at the log (/var/log/kern.log), I can see the lines shown below. My suspicion is the Tinkerboard is trying to exclusively use USB 3.0 drivers and is incorrectly identifying my device. Has anyone experienced this issue? Is it possible to force the use of USB 2.0? I attached some of the log, as well as info on my USB device. 6. Hi all, we are using a TinkerBoard with Android. Every time we connect a USB device, a window ask us to enable USB and this setting is not remembered after the next boot. Is there a way to disable this notification? Thanks
