  1. I went for a UVC camera with OV3660 sensor (HBVCAM-3M2111) to match the sensor on my MCU board. It actually worked really well. I did have to run, otherwise a probe would hang. Ideally, I think this could be disabled. I suppose it assumes Coral camera in use. sudo rm /dev/video0
  2. Coral Dev Board Camera? But I am struggling to locate any suppliers with stock, maybe heading towards EoL. I keep coming across this document quite a lot, but I can't see how it could be correct. Both the "Raspberry Pi CM1 Adaptors Adapter" and the Pi NoIR Camera V2 have different ribbon cable pins. Ideally, as you state, this document would be a good place to identify compatible cameras. "... for Coral Dev Board" and "... for Tinker Edge T" not in same place as Raspberry Pi or Jetson Nano. Perhaps UVC would be a solution to the camera above. This from Arducam looks encouraging. I'm going to try a UVC cam with my Coral Dev Board. This is maybe too adventurous/exotic.
  3. This helped me https://hub.mender.io/t/boot-from-emmc-on-coral-dev-board/2256/3 On a Coral Dev Board, I found that after booting the recovery.img from SD that the flash.sh would fail because the env variable was missing. But if you walk carefully through the flash.sh you can manually run each command one-by-one.
  4. Datasheet states 5.5/2.5 mm. If power supply didn't fit, could it be 5.5/2.1 mm centre pin, which would look very similar? There are adapters https://thepihut.com/products/2-1mm-to-2-5mm-dc-barrel-plug-adapter Link above describes how 2.1 to 2.5 doesn't fit.
  5. Hi @oussama, I've been investigating BalenaOS on a Coral Dev Board (very similar to the Tinker Edge T). Perhaps it might fit your needs? Being built by Balena – the people who built Etcher – it comes with a flash image creator. I had a look an there is an image. If you give it a try, I'd be interested to know how you get on an compare notes.
  6. Have you tried BalenaOS using an image created from BalenaCloud? They are the same people who make Etcher and Tinker Edge T is supported. Might be worth a tinker. I have used it for Coral Dev Board and it is primed for Docker. Its origins are from the Yocto Project. Given NVIDIA's successful alignment with Ubuntu, and to a certain degree Raspberry Pi's, Mendel still seems an odd choice to have generated yet another custom Debian-based Linux distro for Google Coral/ASUS IoT. Even if all the i.MX 8 boards banded together on Mendel, I still can't see it reaching critical mass. And Android in this space is probably too left field.
