Hi, I recently bought a Tinker board Edge R and noticed with amazement that it hadn't received updates for two years. Has support been dropped? Other boards with the rk3399pro chip have received newer kernels. Could I know if there are any updates planned and the time frame? If not, could you point me to some material to port the kernel?

I'm trying to reinstall the OS. I'm using Balena to flash the device, but every time I connect it, my computer doesn't recognize it. It used to recognize it when I changed the system before, but not anymore. I also tried using an SD card as the manual suggests, but I'm encountering the same error with the eMMC.

Hi, Everyone is there any possible way to change the IP address of tinker board using python script. I tried to change it using script, changes reflecting in network file properly (/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/Wired Ethernet1.nmconnection). But It's creating new connection eth0 and taking auto IP. Not taking my IP, anyone have any idea about this my guess is because of edit maybe format change will happens because of that its not changing I think. File also attached . Eg. [connection] id=Ethernet connection 1 uuid=940351fd-af24-4694-ab43-65f8560e76d7 type=ethernet permissions= [ethernet] mac-address-blacklist= [ipv4] address1= 192.168.1.220/24,192.168.1.10 dns8.8.8.8 4.2.2.2 dns-search= method=manual [ipv6] addr-gen-mode=stable-privacy dns-search= ip6-privacy=0 method=auto Wired1.nmconnection

Hi, We are new to Tinker Board coming from Raspberry Pi 4. We need an OS to build upon and to decide which components we want to install. Although the Asus Linux guys seem to have don a great job in building a Linux with all the bells and whistles, but our system must be light weight, as it runs as an IoT device and I can not afford/risk to update any oft the certainly upcoming vulnerabilities in packets which we are not using anyways. As we will run 1000s of these devices, I can not carry around unnecessary packets. So instead of taking the heavy Tinker OS, throwing away everything Asus was working so hard on, I need a Debian base image to add stuff. Raspberry OS has a tiny version which was a perfect start, but it does not run on ATB . So far, I haven't been able to install anything else than Tinker OS. All alternatives I tried simply did not start up (regardless of the maskrom jumper): DietPi Tinker Board DietPi RockPro64 Armbian Debian ARm Tinker OS boots up immediately. Is there a Debian based distro available to start building the required configuration upon? Thanks
